墨尔本警方突袭闹市烟店，查获3000多根非法电子烟（图）
维州警方在Chapel街上的一家烟草店查获了3000多根尼古丁电子烟，这家店的老板被发现向未出示身份证的青少年销售这些黑市商品。
据《先驱太阳报》报道，周一上午10点左右，警方从位于Windsor的TSG烟草站查获了3100多根尼古丁电子烟。此前一位母亲对她14岁的女儿能从这家店里购买到草莓味的电子烟感到愤怒。

该少女购买的尼古丁电子烟是IGET品牌，价格在15到50澳元之间。银行对账单还显示，6月13日，她购买了30澳元的电子烟，交易实体名为Windsor的烟草商。与此事有关的一对五十多岁的男女被问话后，等待进一步调查。
去年，警方查获了1000多根黑市电子烟，并指控另一家零售商向未成年青少年出售这些产品。这是自2021年新的电子烟法律生效以来，警方首次对零售商提出指控。
维州癌症协会行为研究中心的最新数据显示，2018年，14-17岁的青少年中，不到1%的人报告使用过电子烟。到2022年，这个数字达到了11.8%，并在2023年初达到14.5%。
